Guided by the Essentials of National Medium and Long--Term Science and Technology Plan (Year 2006━2020) published by the State Council of China and the Three Nine-Year Development Plans designed by Tsinghua University, the emergence of the Quantum Physics Laboratory targets to meet the needs of the development of national economy, science and technology, and the requirements set for the state key laboratory assessments.
